Military Service Financial Aid

Every branch of the military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine Corps) offers some form of financial aid to help pay for college. A student may be eligible for these types of military aid if he or she is one of the following:

  • An active military service member
  • A reservist
  • A member of the National Guard
  • A college student who commits to serving in the military after college
  • A military veteran
  • A spouse or dependent child of an active military member, reservist, or veteran (living or deceased)

There are many different types of military financial aid available. Therefore, it’s important to check with each branch of the military to learn exactly what kind of aid they offer, their eligibility requirements, the application procedures, and any other conditions. Military Tuition Assistance. A program that pays 100% of the tuition expenses for current military service members.
